![]() Wednesday, 26th Jan 2005 18:16 Chairman David Sheepshanks has praised manager Joe Royle after the Town manager persuaded Portsmouth's David Unsworth to drop down a division and join the Blues on loan. Sheepshanks told the club site: "I'm very pleased that we have been able to support Joe and bring David on loan to Portman Road. "It's a measure of Joe's stature in the game that he is able to attract a player of David's standing from the Premiership to strengthen our push for promotion. "I'm sure all Town fans will give David a huge welcome and wish him well as he joins our quest for the Premiership." The 31-year-old is likely to make his debut in the away game at Sheffield United a week on Saturday.
