Academy midfielder Daniel Flack is set to join League Two side Boston United. The 19-year-old right winger was told late last year that he would not be offered a contract with the Blues at the end of the season.

Flack will join-up with former Town Academy defender Lee Beevers when he signs at York Street next week.

Last week reserves central defender Jerrome Sobers almost moved to the Pilgrims on loan but flu scuppered the deal. Since then the Lincolnshire club have signed a number of other defenders and the switch now looks unlikely to take place.
