![]() Monday, 14th Mar 2005 13:00 Former Blue Antonio Murray has extended his contract with Tony Mowbray's Hibernian. Murray left Portman Road in January to join the ex-Town skipper and coach. Murray, 20, initially signed until the end of the season but has impressed at Easter Road and has now penned a two-and-a-half year deal. The midfielder, who made one senior appearance as a sub for the Blues, says he likes life in Scotland: "I have settled in really well and I'm really enjoying myself. Everyone here has made me feel very welcome and Edinburgh is a great city. "I said when I arrived here that I had to prove myself to the manager, the players and the fans, and hopefully this deal is proof that I have done just that. "I am enjoying my football and feel as though I am learning more every day. The team is settled under Tony Mowbray and he is an excellent coach to work for." Two more former Town Academy players are at Easter Road, striker Sam Morrow and defender Chris Hogg, while Mark Venus is Mowbray's assistant.
