Loan defender David Unsworth says he is in the dark about his future beyond the end of the season. Unsworth is currently on a three-month loan spell with the Blues.

The 31-year-old Portsmouth man told the club site: "Nothing has really changed in my situation.

"It won't either until the end of the season. I still have a year left on my contract at Portsmouth and I don't know what my future is there.

"The situation with me at Ipswich might develop further if we win promotion to the Premiership, but whatever happens, I can't see anything moving on in a definite manner until the summer.

"All I am concentrating on is trying to help Ipswich get into the Premiership. That's my only concern for now."

With loans for players over the age of 24 limited to 93 days, Unsworth would not be able to remain with the Blues should they finish the season in the play-offs.
