Miller Linked to Celtic
Miller Linked to Celtic

Celtic are the latest side to be linked with out-of-contract Town midfielder Tommy Miller. The 26-year-old has already held talks with Sunderland and Leeds, with Mick McCarthy's club, close to his family home in Shotton Colliery, looking favourites for his signature.

The former Hartlepool man is not expected to make his decision in a hurry as he is now away on his honeymoon having got married on Saturday. Miller also has a new two-year deal with the Blues to consider.

Ex-Town midfielder Darren Ambrose is being linked with a £1.5 million move to Charlton, where he would join up with best friend Darren Bent, who moved to the Valley last week.

Ambrose left Town to join Newcastle for £1 million in March 2003 during Town's spell in administration. The deal, along with Hermann Hreidarsson's switch to Charlton, was one of two completed by administrators Deloitte and Touche.

The Blues would be due no sell-on percentage but would land some extra cash should the midfielder make full England appearances.

Ambrose is currently with the England U20 squad at the Toulon tournament and scored the opening goal in Thursday's 2-0 defeat of Tunisia.
