Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell says he is hopeful that out-of-contract Town midfielder Tommy Miller will decide to move to Elland Road. Yesterday Miller's father, Tommy senior, who represents his son, confirmed that Leeds, Sunderland and Crystal Palace were all after the 26-year-old.

Town are also keen to keep the former Hartlepool man at Portman Road and have offered him a two-year deal.

Blackwell says his club, the Black Cats and Town are all in with a chance of capturing Miller's signature: "It appears that it is a three-way thing between ourselves, Sunderland and Ipswich. I have spoken with the lad's father and the player is now mulling things over.

"In the end it will be down to the player but I'm hopeful something will happen."

Town's top-scoring midfielder is currently on his honeymoon and won't make his decision until he returns on June 21st.

Miller senior yesterday denied that Celtic had shown an interest in his son.
