John McGreal looks likely to play tomorrow after overcoming a stomach bug. It will be a special moment for McGreal as he and all his family are all Liverpool fans. McGreal has only once played at Anfield, for Tranmere in a friendly so he will especially enjoy tomorrow afternoon.

New signing Alun Armstrong is likely to start on a bench that will probably included him and David Johnson. James Scowcroft looks likely to partner Marcus Stewart.

Other injury worries from earlier this week are all in the squad. Richar Wright is expected to play while Jim Magilton, James Scowcroft, Matt Holland and Mark Venus have all thrown off the effects of previous injuries. John Scales is still suffering with his hamstring and back problems, but is included in the squad.
