Former Blue James Scowcroft is reported to be a target of Burnley. The frontman is currently on holiday in France and is expected to hold talks with Clarets boss Steve Cotterill when he returns.

Scowcroft, 29, was released by Leicester at the end of last season and is available on a free transfer.

Stoke City, who parted company with boss Tony Pulis earlier today, have also been linked with the former England U21 international.
