Three to Sign on Tuesday

Fabian Wilnis, Dean McDonald and Jimmy Juan will put pen to paper on their new Town deals on Tuesday. All three have verbally agreed to stay at Portman Road but are yet to go through the formality of signing their contracts.

McDonald will sign a one-year deal having impressed Joe Royle last season, first on trial and then on a three-month contract. The winger or striker, 19, was released by Arsenal's academy last summer, having spent time with Crystal Palace as a schoolboy.

Wilnis, now 34, has been offered a new one-year contract with the Blues. The Dutchman joined Town from De Graafschap for £200,000 in January 1999.

Monaco midfielder Jimmy Juan will sign on a year-long loan. The 22-year-old initially came to Portman Road on trial in January and signed on loan for the remainder of the season prior to the end of the transfer window. A recurrent foot injury prevented him from making a first team debut.

Skipper Jim Magilton continues to weigh-up whether to sign a one-year contract with Town or a two-year player-coach deal at Bristol Rovers.

Canadian international winger Jaime Peters is expected to finally sign a contract when he returns from the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the USA later this month.
