U18s Face Charlton
U18s Face Charlton

Town's U18s take on Charlton at Playford Road on Saturday lunchtime (KO noon). The youngsters will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing 3-2 to Spurs last week, their third loss on the spin.

Meanwhile, former academy goalkeeper Floyd Croll scored a goal for Wigan's reserves against Manchester United's second string at Hyde's Ewen Fields last night.

Croll, who was with the Blues as a schoolboy, punted the ball upfield and a combination of a strong wind and a surprising bounce took the ball over Tim Howard and into the net.
