Striker Sam Parkin looks likely to be out of action for several weeks after injuring his ankle in the early stages of the 3-0 home defeat to Reading.

Parkin left Portman Road on crutches and boss Joe Royle is not expecting positive news when the former Swindon man undergoes scans: "We will have more of an idea on Wednesday but it doesn't look good.

"The physio team tell me it's a ligament injury and that could mean weeks on the sidelines."
