![]() Tuesday, 17th Jan 2006 11:53 Marcus Bent has become the sixth ex-Town player on the books at Charlton after completing his £2.5 million switch from Everton. The striker joins up with former team-mates Darren Bent, Darren Ambrose, Matt Holland and Hermann Hreidarsson as well as Dean Kiely, who was on loan with the Blues in 1989. Town will receive £205,000 from the deal, having put a sell-on clause in place when the much-travelled frontman moved to Everton for £450,000 in the summer of 2004. The Blues are due 10% of the Toffeemen's profit with the fee an initial £2 million plus another £500,000 after a set number of appearances.
