![]() Thursday, 16th Feb 2006 12:29 New trialist Henry Kanu says he is looking forward to trying to win a deal with the Blues. As reported yesterday, Kanu has also played under the name Henry Nwosu. The 26-year-old is apparently Nwankwo Kanu's half-brother and not his cousin as suggested on a number of Nigeria websites. The striker has been put in contact with the Blues by former Town midfielder Colin Viljoen. Kanu told the club site: "Colin used to manage a friend of mine that was in the same U23 team that played in the 2000 Olympics. He's made it possible for me to come to Ipswich. "I'm here for two days and really looking forward to it. Hopefully I can do well. "I'd love the chance to play in England. I've spent most of my career in Germany and there are many similarities between the way football is played in the two countries. "I don't know anything really about Ipswich, only that Finidi George played here, but the stadium looks impressive."
