Juan Joins Grenoble Sunday, 18th Jun 2006 22:25 Former loanee Jimmy Juan has joined French second division side Grenoble on a three-year contract. Juan had been on loan at Portman Road from Monaco since January 2005 but was told at the end of the season that he would not be offered a permanent deal by ex-boss Joe Royle. The size of any fee paid for the 23-year-old, linked with a number of other French clubs last week, has not been disclosed. Elsewhere, the Blues will hope that tabloid reports linking Darren Bent with a move from Charlton to Tottenham Hotspur will prove to have some foundation. Town would be due 20% of the Addicks' profit on the £2.6 million they have so far paid the Blues for the striker's services should he leave the Valley. Depending on which newspaper you believe, Martin Jol will offer either £10 million or £15 million for the England international. Liverpool were previously linked with Bent, but appear to have turned their attentions to Blackburn's Craig Bellamy.
