![]() Tuesday, 18th Jul 2006 16:46 New skipper Jason De Vos says the Town players grouped together in a pre-match huddle will become a familiar sight this season. The Blues tried out the motivational exercise increasingly prevalent in English football prior to last night's 1-1 draw with Willem II in Holland. The Canadian told the club site: "We talked about it as a group and somebody suggested introducing the pre-match huddle that quite a few clubs use these days. "We get together as a group on the pitch and talk through what's coming up. The idea is that it helps to completely focus the mind before kick-off. "It's about everybody taking responsibility. It's no use me or Richard Naylor or Nicky Forster or whoever simply giving instructions. Everybody will have a turn addressing the group during the season. "For some of the younger lads it will be an important process in helping them to come out of themselves a little bit and giving them a bit more confidence."
