![]() Thursday, 20th Jul 2006 12:16 Boss Jim Magilton has decided not to offer contracts to trialists Alexis Bertin and Mehdi Méniri. Frenchman Bertin has been with the Blues since the beginning of pre-season, while Algerian international Méniri joined up with the squad earlier this week. Magilton told the club site: "We have had a good look at the two players and I thank them both for their efforts, especially Alexis who has been with us a bit longer. "They have both done well in their time with us, but at this stage they are not quite what we are looking for. I wish them both every success." Bertin is understood to have previously lined-up a trial with Town's Championship rivals Coventry City. The Blues still have two trialists with the touring party, Finn Marko Kolsi and Icelander Indridi Sigurdsson.
