Clarke After First Goal Friday, 21st Jul 2006 15:14 Striker Billy Clarke says he can't wait to score his first senior goal for the Blues. The 18-year-old Irishman, who made one start and one sub appearance for Town last season in addition to a loan spell at Colchester United, has been impressed with Jim Magilton and Bryan Klug's pre-season programme, especially the tour of Holland and Belgium. Clarke said: "It is great to be together and to have time to get to know each other better. "The spirit in the team is good and has been improved this week. I can't wait for my first senior goal and feel sure I am capable of scoring goals at the top level. It is up to me. If I can keep my head down and work hard I would like to think that I have every chance of making the first team this season. "It is a big year for me and I want to be pushing for a place. This pre-season has been the toughest since I entered football and we have certainly had to work our socks off. But we have also had time for a few laughs this week as well."
