As the new season creeps up on us the TWTD site has undergone an extensive change. We have gone into partnership with Rivals.net which we hope will be a mutually beneficial arrangement. TWTD will continue to provide the NewsNet service as we have for a couple of years now, as well as keeping all the other features which we've run for some while. We have also added to the site and plan several other areas of development, many of which will need input from visitors if they are to work properly. |

Town are being linked to Canadian international defender Jason De Vos. The 26-year-old is currently at Dundee United and would probably cost Town around £1.5 million mark. The defender is 6'4" tall and cost Dundee United £400,000 when he joined them two years ago. Town Chief Scout Colin Suggett is believed to rate De Vos very highly and has apparently been watching him since his spell with Darlington prior to his move to Scotland. |

Town finished their pre-season friendly programme with a 1-1 draw with Italian Serie A giants Fiorentina. Star of the show was Titus Bramble who put on an awesome display at the back against world class strikers like Portugal's Nuno Gomes. |
