Dutch full-back Fabian Wilnis is out for three weeks after injuring his groin in last night's 2-2 draw with Southampton. Initial reports suggested it was an ankle problem which forced the 35-year-old off just before half-time.

Club safety officer Mick Warden has thanked fans for their patience during last night's 45-minute delay due to floodlight failure. The club are investigating why the lights went out four minutes and 37 seconds into the game against Southampton.

Full-backs Fabian Wilnis and Jay McEveley are doubts ahead of Sunday's East Anglian derby with Norwich City (KO Noon). Wilnis limped off during last night's 2-2 draw against Southampton with an ankle injury, while McEveley was hampered by his foot problem during the second half.

Boss Joe Royle rated Southampton as the best side the Blues have faced this season and felt that Town rode their luck in gaining a 2-2 draw against the Saints. Royle had particular praise for Irish midfielder Owen Garvan who scored his first senior goal.

Summer signing Nicky Forster says he hopes to be back in action in two or three weeks' time. The 32-year-old, who joined the Blues on a free transfer from Reading, has been out of action since undergoing a cartilage operation in August.
