Town got back into away winning ways with an excellent 1-0 victory at Upton Park over a West Ham side that rarely showed their talents. Town were dominant virtually from beginning to end, but on an afternoon when chances were rare it took a Martijn Reuser special to win the game for the Blues.

Marcus Stewart has signed an extension to his Town contract which will keep him at Portman Road for another year beyond his existing deal. The Town top scorer will now remain at Portman Road until 2005 when he will be 32.

Town manager George Burley has said that Marcus Stewart will go straight back into the line-up for tomorrow's game at West Ham. Stewart has missed the last three matches after receiving a suspension for his red card against Leeds.
