Midfielder Grant Leadbitter could still be involved in Thursday’s East Anglian derby against Norwich City at Portman Road despite being stretchered off after suffering a head injury in the second half of Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Bristol City. The 25-year-old was taken to hospital but returned to Ipswich later on that evening. |

Blues boss Paul Jewell says Town have agreed terms with central defender Gareth McAuley and that he hopes the Northern Irishman will join Damien Delaney in signing his new deal in the next few days. One of this morning’s tabloids claims next season's Rangers manager Ally McCoist will be at Thursday’s East Anglian derby with Norwich to run the rule over the 31-year-old, but the Town boss says that their interest is news to him. |
