Gary Croft has joined the fortunately rather small ranks of injured at Portman Road. The former Grimsby and Blackburn player injured his hip in last night's reserve game. |

Town are becoming increasingly worried at the continuing problems with Richard Naylor's knees. Bam Bam had an operation in the summer to correct his tendinitis and this should have solved his problems. |

John McGreal is rated as very doubtful for Saturday's clash with Manchester City. The Town centre-half was injured on Monday when he collided with a post when heading the ball away from danger. He has a leg injury and he himself is hopeful that he may be fit for Maine Road: "Although the injury is still sore, it has improved and I feel that I still have a chance of making the game. With the team on such a good run, none of us want to miss a match unless we absolutely have to." |

Inevitably the Rio Ferdinand story has ended up with some hack deciding that Titus Bramble would make a perfect replacement. A national newspaper report this morning claims that Bramble is about to become a £4 million target of Harry Redknapp as soon as the Rio deal goes through. |
