Midfielder Jaime Peters has received good news regarding the medial ligament injury he sustained in the reserve game against Crystal Palace earlier in the month. The Canadian international will not require surgery as was initially feared.

Left-back Ben Thatcher is back in training after his torn thigh muscle and is two weeks ahead of schedule. The summer signing from Charlton picked up the injury during the Carling Cup tie with Wigan.
