A familiar name could once again return to the Town side in the not too distant future with the twin sons of Blues' legend Russell Osman currently on trial with the academy. Also being put through his paces at Playford Road at present is Norwegian keeper Aleksander Stensrud.

Striker Billy Clarke and defender Michael Synnott have joined up with the Republic of Ireland U21 squad at the Madeira invitational tournament. Keeper Shane Supple and midfielder Owen Garvan were both initially included in the squad before being withdrawn by the Blues.

Striker Danny Haynes has been called into the England U19 squad for a friendly against Turkey at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday, 21st March. Haynes won his first international cap at any level earlier in the month as the U19s defeated Poland 4-1 at Bournemouth.
