Huddersfield manager Steve Bruce has confirmed that Town have made "a firm bid" for Marcus Stewart although that is as far as matters have gone as yet. The local press in Ipswich and Huddersfield are both reporting the story which is either for £2.8 million or £3 million depending on who you believe, with the £800,000 rated Naylor included in this figure.

Details have emerged this morning suggesting the £1 million plus transfer we have all been speculating about for the last couple of days involves Huddersfield's Marcus Stewart coming to Portman Road and Richard Naylor going in the opposite direction. The former Bristol Rovers striker is rumoured to want to leave Steve Bruce's club and would presumably be looking at joining either a Premiership club or one of the other top Division One sides.
