David McGoldrick says he’s known about Town’s interest in him for a while, but that in the end his loan switch from Nottingham Forest came about very quickly. McGoldrick, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Coventry, has moved to Portman Road on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move.
