Town boss Joe Royle will wait before deciding whether central defender John McGreal is fit enough to replace the suspended Richard Naylor at Derby on Saturday. McGreal, yet to feature this season, played the full 90 minutes for the reserves last night but didn't train today as a precaution. |

Released Town midfielder Finidi George could be on his way back to Spanish side Real Mallorca. The former Nigerian international left Portman Road in the summer after he and the club agreed a £1 million settlement of his contract, payable over the next 18 months. |

Sir Bobby Robson's Newcastle United will be Town's opponents in the testimonial game for former Blues' player and coach Dale Roberts who died in February this year at the age of 46 after a battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. |

Town manager Joe Royle will have his fingers crossed that defender John McGreal comes through tonight's reserve game at home to Nottingham Forest unscathed (KO 7pm). If he is successful McGreal looks certain to go into the senior side for Saturday's visit to Derby. |
