Richard Naylor has been given a two-match suspension by the FA for the alleged headbutt on Darren Purse during the Birmingham game in September.

Former QPR and Dundee United 'keeper Sieb Dykstra is the man tipped to take his place in Town's goal on Friday if Mike Salmon loses his fitness battle. The 33 year-old-Dutchman was given a free transfer by Dundee United at the end of last season and is currently in Holland looking for another club. His temporary signing would mean that Town would not have to sign a 'keeper on loan for a month when he is only likely to play one game (if any should Salmon get back to fitness).

Town striker Richard Naylor will face an FA disciplinary committee today and answer the Birmingham City claim that he headbutted Darren Purse in the game at Portman Road in September.

Town manager George Burley today said that he is willing to let striker Neil Midgley go if the price is right. Twenty-year-old Midgley is currently enjoying the second month of a very successful loan spell at Luton Town with fans of the Hatters keen that he signs on permanently. Midgley finds himself in fifth place for a starting shirt up front for Town with even eighteen-year-old Richard Logan ahead of him.

Town reserves drew 1-1 last night with the second string from Norwich. Town's goalscorer was Titus Bramble who headed home a Marco Holster free-kick after 23 minutes of the game at Carrow Road. Bramble looked to be getting back to his best with an excellent display. The Norfolk side equalised after 58 minutes.
