BBC Radio Suffolk’s Life’s a Pitch is live over Saturday lunchtime (midday to 2pm) with presenter Mark Murphy joined by the show’s regulars, Blues legend Kevin Beattie, football’s youngest pundit Tractorboy and TWTD’s Phil Ham. Former Town and Barnsley left-back Neil Thompson and ex-Blues chairman David Sheepshanks will also be appearing on the show.

Town have announced that there will be a stadium and pitch inspection at 9am tomorrow before a decision is made on whether the game against Barnsley goes ahead. The match is in doubt due to safety concerns with snow having fallen overnight and with more expected this evening.

The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) hearing into race-fixing charges made against Blues striker Michael Chopra and nine others has concluded with the result set to be announced on Friday 25th January. Chopra, who released a statement saying that he wouldn’t be appearing at the hearing, was charged with serious breaches of the Rules of Racing in October.
