Midfielder Andy Drury says he’s looking forward to returning to his former club Luton Town for this afternoon’s friendly (KO 3pm). The 28-year-old joined the Blues from the Hatters in January 2011 for £150,000.

Town’s U18s won their annual friendly fixture at Southwold Town 3-1 on Friday evening. A brace from Tom Winter (pictured) and one from Matt Clarke sealed the win in a game which was stopped nine minutes early because of fading light, having previously been briefly halted due to a streaker.

French-Guinean midfielder Cheick Kourouma has been named in the squad for Saturday’s pre-season friendly at Luton Town (KO 3pm). The former Sochaux, Real Zaragoza and Genoa man, who celebrates his 20th birthday today, has agreed a contract with the Blues but has so far been unable to put pen to paper due to red tape relating to his former clubs.

Doncaster Rovers defender George Friend is reported to be undergoing a medical at Middlesbrough. The 24-year-old had been expected to join the Teessiders earlier in the week after the clubs agreed a £250,000 fee but he pulled out of the move at the last minute and was believed to favour a switch to Portman Road instead.
