Keeper Scott Loach says goalkeeper-coach Malcolm Webster is the man behind his impressive record of penalty saves since he joined the Blues a year ago. The 25-year-old ex-Watford man stopped Mark Byrne’s first-half spotkick during Saturday’s friendly at Barnet, having saved from Huddersfield’s James Vaughan and Derby’s Jamie Ward last season.

Waterford United have wished 18-year-old winger Jack Doherty well for his future after he left Ireland to travel to Suffolk to finalise his move to the Blues. On Friday, TWTD reported that Doherty, who trained with the Town squad in Ireland earlier this month, would be on his way to Town to complete his switch over the weekend.
