[Now former] Town midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas has been fined £3,000 and warned as to his future conduct by the FA after a Tweet which was deemed to have been “improper and/or brought the game into disrepute”, breaking Rule E3. The 22-year-old is close to completing a switch to Bristol City with winger Paul Anderson moving in the opposite direction.

TWTD understands that former Blues midfielder Kieron Dyer will retire from professional football this summer, having been released by Middlesbrough at the end of last season. Dyer, 34, came through the Town academy and went on to play for England, Newcastle, West Ham, QPR and finally Boro during the second half of last season.
