Town right-back Carlos Edwards won his 82nd and perhaps final Trinidad and Tobago cap as his national side beat Guyana 2-0 in a 2014 World Cup qualifier in Port of Spain overnight. The victory was in vain with the Soca Warriors having been eliminated from the qualification process after losing 2-1 to the Guyanese in Georgetown on Friday.

Chief executive Simon Clegg says supporters shouldn’t be unduly worried by the club’s debt reaching £66.17 million during the year to June 2011. Town made an operating loss of £10.72 million during that period, although transfer profits of £10.85 million led to a small pre-tax profit of £136,000.
