Town boss Joe Royle is still waiting on his targeted loan players, having identified the men he feels would add something to his squad. Royle has been after new loanees for some weeks now but as yet the players he has been after have either been unavailable or unwilling to make a move out of the Premiership.

Youngsters Scott Mitchell, Jerome Sobers and Ben Patten all signed their professional contracts with Town earlier today. Mitchell has come through the academy ranks while the Blues took Sobers and Patten from Ryman League side Ford United last month after trials.

Rumoured Town target Gerard Wiekens says he has has no interest from the Blues or any other club ahead of his expected Manchester City exit in the summer. Earlier today Town were reported to be one of the candidates to sign the out of contract Dutchman in the close season.
