Brian Murphy and Devann Yao are set to make their first public appearances in Town shirts this afternoon when the reserves take on Norwich at Carrow Road (KO 2pm). The duo, who have both recently been out with injury, have previously featured in behind closed doors games but not yet in front of paying spectators.

Daryl Murphy says he is hoping to show Sunderland boss Steve Bruce that he should have been playing him as a striker and not a left midfielder during his loan spell with the Blues. Murphy has spent much of his time at the Stadium of Light playing in his less favoured midfield role.
