Town's game at Scunthorpe has been postponed after an early morning pitch inspection. Referee Andy Haines stayed overnight in North Lincolnshire and declared the surface unplayable after giving it the once over along with managers Roy Keane and Nigel Adkins at 8.30am.

Boss Roy Keane has dismissed claims that midfielder Colin Healy is close to sealing a New Year loan move to Hartlepool United, but says he has received interest from a number of clubs regarding the former Cork City man. The Town manager says he has identified the players he wants to target in January and has started speaking to managers about them.

Scunthorpe have announced that referee Andy Haines will hold a pitch inspection at Glanford Park at 8.30am. Temperatures overnight reached minus six and are still at the same level this morning.
