Academy striker Paul Murphy won his fourth Republic of Ireland U19 cap on Sunday evening as his side defeated Liechtenstein 1-0 in Malta to go through to the elite qualifying phase of the UEFA Championships. The Irish beat the hosts in the first of their three group games on Friday.

Goals from Pablo Couñago and Jon Walters saw the Blues to a comfortable victory over Derby County at a freezing Portman Road. Town were in control throughout and should have scored more against a lacklustre Rams side which rarely threatened.
