Williams Set for Peterborough Trial Tue 15th Apr 2008 10:22
Released U18 captain Curtley Williams is set for a spell on trial with League Two leaders Peterborough United this week. Williams has already spent time with Grimsby, Lincoln and Stevenage Borough with a trial at Colchester scheduled for later in the month.

Boss Jim Magilton joked that he would have strangled matchwinner Danny Haynes had Norwich City managed an equaliser in Sunday's 2-1 victory over the Canaries at Portman Road. Haynes created the first and scored the second for the Blues, but missed a succession of very good chances after the break.

Danny Haynes was once again the derby day hero, first creating an own goal for Norwich defender Alex Pearce, then scoring the second himself as Town defeated the Canaries 2-1 at Portman Road. The Blues deserved to win much more comfortably, having dominated after Ched Evans had put the visitors ahead in the fourth minute.
