Town notched their second home win of the season with a comfortable 3-1 win against Cardiff City, and in doing so went fifth in the table. Darren Bent put the Blues ahead in the first half but Alan Lee hit back after the break, only for Tommy Miller and Ian Westlake to net for Town.

Since returning from international duty yesterday, Jason De Vos has been having scans on a suspected fracture to his fibula. The results of those scans now suggest there is no such fracture and is available for selection tomorrow.

Town's U18s start their FA Premier Academy League (South) season on Saturday morning with a home game against Nottingham Forest (Playford Road, KO 11am). The senior Academy leagues have switched to U16 and U18 this season from U17 and U19.
