First team coach Bryan Klug says that striker Dean Bowditch still has a future with the Blues despite another stuttering season. The former England U19 international, who has a year left on his Town contract, returns to action for the reserves this evening after a spell out with a groin injury.

Boss Jim Magilton was pleased with Town's first half display but less so with his team's performance after the break. Plymouth manager Ian Holloway was fuming after the game due to Mathias Doumbe's early red card and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's disallowed second half goal.

Mathias Doumbe's 78th second red card assisted Town's progress towards a 3-0 victory over Plymouth. After Doumbe's dismissal for a professional foul on Jon Walters, Owen Garvan and Alan Lee put the Blues into a comfortable lead. Late on, Danny Haynes netted a third, Town's 4,000th league goal.
Academy Scholars Named Fri 30th Mar 2007 17:37
Town have announced the names of this summer's new academy scholars. The seven youngsters will start full-time at Playford Road in July, although many of them have already played for the U18s and Jack Ainsley has even come on as a sub for the reserves on two occasions.
