Former Town players Kieron Dyer and Titus Bramble have donated money to the academy which will allow the U14s to attend a prestigious youth tournament. Last month academy director Bryan Klug revealed that due to the current financial situation the club were unable to afford to attend the Nike Cup.

On loan midfielder Robert Dickinson scored two goals for Boston reserves as they defeated Scunthorpe 4-2 on Monday night. Dickinson and Town defender Lee Beevers joined the Pilgrims on loan on deadline day after they were told they are being released by the Blues in the summer.
