Town will learn their UEFA Cup qualifying round opponents on Friday morning at 11am. The draw in Geneva will reveal who Town will face in the Thursday, August 15th and Thursday, August 29th games. Town qualified for the UEFA Cup through the Fair Play League.

Town's pre-season is starting earlier than in previous years with the players returning on June 27th. The first few days will see mainly muscle-loosening exercises while the next week will see a five-day training camp at The Royal Hospital School at Holbrook.

Town skipper Matt Holland and his Irish team-mates will return to the Emerald Isle today to a rapturous reception. Holland says he enjoyed the tournament and is now aiming for qualification for the 2004 European Championships in Portugal.
