Jaime Peters came on as an 84th minute sub as Canada's U20s lost 2-0 to Colombia in their second game at the FIFA World Youth Championship in Holland. Peters will officially become a Town player after he returns to Portman Road for pre-season training on July 4th.

Town could receive an unexpected windfall this summer if reports linking former striker Marcus Bent to Manchester City prove to be correct. The Blues agreed a sell-on as part of the deal which took Bent to Everton in a £450,000 move last year.

Chairman David Sheepshanks says the Blues have received "just under £1 million" from the £1.25 million Kelvin Davis deal with Sunderland. The remainder of the cash goes to the MK Dons as part of the deal which saw Davis join the Blues from the club then known as Wimbledon in the summer of 2003.

Boss Joe Royle has thanked departing goalkeeper Kelvin Davis for his two years at Portman Road and wished him well for the future. The 28-year-old completed his move to the Black Cats earlier this afternoon.

Keeper Kelvin Davis has completed his £1.25 million move to Sunderland, signing a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light. Davis leaves the Blues after two seasons at Portman Road.
