Setback for Diallo Tue 25th Jan 2005 10:41
Central defender Drissa Diallo has suffered a setback in his recovery from the hamstring injury which has kept him out of action since before Christmas. The Guinean international limped out of training at the end of last week and will see a specialist.

Irish trialist John Paul Kelly will not be offered a deal at Portman Road. The former Liverpool midfielder has been on trial since before Christmas but has not done enough to win himself a contract.

Both Town and Reading scored in injury time of an entertaining game to draw 1-1. The Blues thought the had snatched the three points via Darren Bent's goal but Ivar Ingimarsson's later effort gave the Royals a share of the spoils.

Town striker Dean Bowditch has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until June 2008. The England U19 international's previous contract expired in the summer of 2006.
