QPR's Marc Bircham says he knows nothing about a weekend tabloid report linking him with a move to the Blues. The unlikely story claimed the cash-strapped Blues had offered £400,000 for the splotchy-haired midfielder.

Boss Joe Royle is blaming blades on boots rather than the Dutch trialist for inflicting Sam Parkin's head wound. TWTD reported on Saturday that the unnamed Dutch striker's boot had caused the cut on Parkin's head which required 20 stitches.
