Town will have more than 18,500 season ticket holders when 2005/06 starts with a home game against Cardiff City on August 6th. The total is up 10% on last season.

Veteran keeper Shaka Hislop has confirmed that Town have contacted him regarding a possible move to Portman Road. The former Reading, Newcastle and West Ham stopper has been released by Portsmouth and is available on a free transfer.

Boss Joe Royle has denied any interest in Crystal Palace full-back Danny Granville. A weekend tabloid report claimed the former Leeds, Cambridge United and Manchester City man was on Royle's list of targeted defenders.
