Town secured the mystery UEFA Cup winners medal at Bonham's sports memorabilia auction yesterday. The medal's original owner is still not known, after passing into private ownership some years ago.

The weather took a bit of a turn for the worse yesterday after I wrote the first piece. The rain lashed down and the wind howled a great deal. The rain stopped but the wind stayed and the ferries stopped running to Copenhagen.

It's bit windy here, but I suppose that isn't surprising as we're right on the coast. Friends back home have enquired if there is snow on the ground and “minus how much is it there?”, but as yet we're yet to feel the kind of chill you feel on a terrace in mid-January.
