Marcus Stewart has said he'll keep his chin-up after being dropped for Sunday's game with Fulham. Stewart was left out despite manager George Burley citing him as a key man just two days before the game. Burley has subsequently said it was a tactical change to have Alun Armstrong as the lone striker.

Town's reserves line-up at Kingstonian's ground tonight (KO 7pm) as they face Wimbledon's second string. We imagine that inclusion in this squad will mean lack of inclusion at Southampton on Wednesday. Tommy Miller and Pablo Counago will be the most disappointed players included today.

Finidi George will undergo an operation on his injured cheekbone after seeing a specialist today. The Nigerian was injured in a clash of heads early in yesterday's game at Fulham.

A much-changed Town side failed to break down a Fulham side which was down to 10 men for most of the game. Luis Boa Morte saw red just before half-time for a dive, although in truth he should have gone earlier for an elbow on Fabian Wilnis. Town had gone behind to a Barry Hayles goal with the equaliser from Jermaine Wright coming in the second half.
