Town Confirm Friendlies Tue 21st May 2002 12:25
Town have confirmed their pre-season friendly programme for 2002/03. As well as the Bristol games and the Brentford match, Town face Nationwide Conference side Barnet. The Danish fixtures see Thomas Gaardsøe meet his old club AaB Aalborg, as well as Farum Boldklub.

Matt Holland was back in training yesterday at the Irish side's base in Saipan after missing out on Sunday due to an ankle injury. The Town skipper picked up the knock in the Nigeria game last Thursday.

Town chairman David Sheepshanks has turned down the opportunity to rejoin the Football League board. Sheepshanks says his main concern is currently Town, despite his deep care of the game at national level.

Bryan Hamilton says that although he is disappointed to be leaving Town he hopes one day to be back for a fourth spell. The Northern Irishman was initially a Town player from 1971 to 1975, and returned as coach for the first time in 1997.
