In a surprise move Town have announced the return of Bryan Hamilton, as a first team coach alongside Tony Mowbray. Hamilton's return may prove controversial after his recent spell as manager at Norwich. The former Northern Ireland, Tranmere, Wigan and Leicester manager was present at Town's game last night and will start in his new position immediately, traveling with the Town party to Middlesbrough tomorrow.

There are still what is described as "quite a few" tickets left for the away leg of the UEFA Cup tie with Inter Milan. Town received an extra 2,000 tickets from the Italians to be sold specifically to those who have booked travel and hotels but who failed to get a ticket first time around.

Town and TWTD are collaborating to collect cash to help pay off the fine incurred by Helsingborgs IF after Town supporters ran on the pitch during the second leg of the UEFA Cup tie. The idea came from fans posting on the TWTD Message Board a week or so ago.

George Burley has admitted that he has made an enquiry about Marcus Bent. However, the Town boss added that nothing is finalised and that he has also spoken to other clubs about other players.

Jim Magilton has failed a fitness test and will miss tonight's game with Inter Milan. Magilton suffered a thigh strain in training eariler in the week.
